found poem

I stumbled across my Shel Silverstein book and remembered my favorite poem in it. I think I was in third grade and used it many times since then in speeches...still holds true.

Listen to the mustn'ts, child.
Listen to the don'ts.
Listen to the shouldn'ts,
The impossibles, the won'ts.
Listen to the never haves,
Then listen close to me...
Anything can happen, child.
Anything can be.
